The sleeping bag, the boots, the binoculars, and the canoe and its paddle lay nearby a log while a wooden sign reminds campers not to feed the bears.
• Up the river, an elk (or may-be a moose) and a raccoon stop by to visit a rolling camper parked by a grill and an oil lamp. A fishing pole is also propped against the camper.
